Lush Bath Cocktail

Aren't Lush products just so lovely? I finally got the chance to make a bath cocktail. It was my first but, of course, won't be my last. I made a little video to share with you.

So now that you've seen the cocktail let me give you what I'm going to call my "after thoughts".

This had to be the softest, silkiest, bath I've ever taken. I knew the second I crumbled up the bubbleroon that this was going to be a smooth bath. The bubbles that were created didn't fade away quickly and smelled great for the first 5 minutes or so. After those first 5 minutes all the smells seemed to disappear though. I couldn't smell citrus, or toffee, any longer unless I turned on the jets or moved the water around with my hand. I found that strange because every other Lush bath product I've used has been just the opposite. I've never had to force the smell to come out like I did with this bath cocktail. I will admit, however, that once I got out of the tub I smelled like a fruity, honey, toffee bar for about 2 hours. So the scent lingered on my skin but didn't really come out in the tub.

I have to say that, overall, I loved the texture of the bath, the way I smelled after the bath, but I was a little disappointed in the scent while in the bath. I'll have to try each one individually to see what I'm missing out on.

My Lush Stash

Here's a little video showing you my Lush Stash.

Something went horribly wrong during editing and it appears like my background has a mind of it's own. I am so sorry about that.
